Merdeka Copper Gold needed a more engaging and accessible way to communicate its Critical Risk Standard for working at height, one of the most hazardous activities in the mining industry. Traditional safety methods often lacked visual clarity and failed to capture attention. To address this, we developed a safety guideline animation that clearly demonstrates how workers can minimize risks, use proper protective equipment, and stay safe while performing tasks at elevated positions.
The animation introduces Hessa, a field worker who regularly faces challenges while operating above ground level.
Through Hessa’s story, we demonstrate how proper PPE and step-by-step safety procedures help prevent accidents.

Losmunos Studio handled the full creative process from start to finish. We began by crafting a script that simplifies technical safety terms while keeping the message accurate and clear. Then, we designed realistic environments and tools that reflect actual conditions on Merdeka’s job sites.

Our team carefully modeled the characters, ensuring they wore the correct protective gear and used appropriate equipment. Finally, we animated each scene to visually demonstrate how proper procedures are applied in real working-at-height situations.

To simplify technical terms in the Critical Risk Standard, we collaborated directly with Merdeka’s safety experts.
This allowed us to turn complex procedures into a clear and memorable safety guideline animation.

The final video supports training efforts by delivering consistent safety messages in a highly visual format.
It helps workers retain important protocols and apply them confidently in real situations.
